Soo I still do not have my pictures :( :( but I am trying to start my own line of steampunk paper merchandise, Hopefully it will come together fast. I just called my lil Sis today to see if she would put her art skill to the test for me, She seemed all about that so I will keep you posted and let you know how it goes. :)

I started a new job!

   Okay so I started my new job last Wednesday so I have not been able to post since because I have all these crazy training tests I have to take on the computer so any chance at the computer I have been taking tests.
  Today I am making an exception so I can at least make one post on the Blog, what good is a Blog if you don't Blog right? 

  Okay so today I will be showing you the hat we made for our son. 

  Jake took a plastic hat and sprayed it with bronze metallic paint and mounted a awesome light and a spring to give it some umph :) sadly my son tore the light off as soon as he tried it on. :(,  I made him some goggles to go with his outfit as well, taking two clock faces and some leather I stitched the leather into the shape of an eight then squeezed the plastic pieces inside then taken the rims I over laid then over the leather and plastic gluing them into place with +Gorilla Glue    I guess the glue and the plastic had some kind of reaction to each other because the plastic got a fog like film over it which is fine with me I think it gives it an antique look.  I would like to know Why and How it did that though. 
  Alright so there you have it, Steampunk hat and goggles for a lil man that will make them look great!  LOVE STEAMPUNK!!!

     Here is the real reason for this post.  This is the gun my husband Jake Steampunked!!
Yea!! Right?  We are going to put a light inside the top glass piece to look like an energy crystal, got to say I am psyched about this one!!! Can't wait to see him in his complete outfit.
  
   The festival is on the 1st of November so look out for a post that night or the 2nd!   Most likely the 2nd, I will be busy cleaning up that night.  I will try to take plenty of pictures to post. :)

So I guess my upload is a fail.

  Or my computer just isn't showing the photo, I hope that be the case but if not I apologize to you all, thought I was being cleaver yesterday.
  I will try the regular upload today.

  So yesterday I was not able to get back to the computer just had to much to do and I had a craving for homemade flour tortia's  so I took the extra time to make them, Which was so worth it if I do say so myself.  Though of course Mamma's are always better.

So now that I am back and the upload is working out for me today (or right now) I will post the photos of our Steampunk creations. 

    Here are the goggles my husband Steampunked and will be wearing for the festival. I am so proud of his work!   I think he did a great job!

    O...... Look what I just figured out how to do!!!!
 I am so proud, Well it may not have been so incredible to all you experienced Bloggers out there but for me that was a huge accomplishment!!  O.K. Just for you non experienced (such as myself) I want to share how I uploaded my photo, Oh speaking of photo this is a photo of the Steampunk necklace I will be wearing at the festival!! Cool huh? 
  O.K. back to sharing my upload experience.
  So I kept trying to upload the photo by using the Bloggers upload but it told me like 20 times in a row upload fail, so after feeling like giving up all together and shutting it all down and doing what I am really suppose to be doing (the dishes) I had a brain blurp and just pasted the image into my text!! Lame, I know but it works for now. :)   So if any of you experienced Bloggers  out there care to share better ways to upload please share in the comment box.  Thanks!!

  This fall we decided to throw a fall festival and my husband and I decided to have the family dress  Steampunk and started on our costumes last Saturday. 
   I am not use to Blogging but I am going to try to load some pictures if I can and let you all see what we have come up with so far.
